The Bones Brigade Rulz!
Tommy Guerrero was one of my favorite skaters back in the late 80's. I recently found out about his music on the "Sprout" Soundtrack released by Jack Johnson's Brushfire Records. I was impressed by what I heard. I was glad to come across this show on the archive. I will have to look for more and will pick up his new disc for sure. The recording quality of this show is not bad for an audience recording. I would recommend this show. Thanks.

Great live sampling and intresting sounds
Tommy Guerrero is a skateboarding legend from the 80's and 90's. When I heard he was playing music at the moonshine festival, I honestly didn't know what to expect, since I hadn't heard his stuff before. I was amazed. He had an early set, so people were still milling around but they sat down pretty fast when he started playing. A lot of live looping / sampling, combined with his stash of previous samples of who knows what (spoken word, swelling orchestra sounds) he mixed them all with live guitar to create this recording. The recording turned out great for an audience recording and having Adam Topol come out for conga help on one of the songs was a cool suprise. A fun listen and really unique. If you like it, pick up his new cd "The Year of the Monkey" ..
